| Ajax prospect De Ridder has signed for 5-years for the Spanish club in August 2005. He has left Celta de Vigo in June 2007 after relegation of the club.
De Ridder moved to England to sign a 3-years contract in July 2007. After one season having minimal appearances, he and the club decided to cancel the contract. A few days later he promptly signed a 3-year contract until 2011 at Wigan Atletic, the club from coach Steve Bruce. Bruce also contracted De Ridder at Birmingham City before getting sacked in November 2007. De Ridder moved on a loan stay to Israel in January 2009. He moved to his mothers country to Hapoel Tel Aviv for the rest of the season. The Israelian club opted for an option to buy at the end of the loan period. | |
