| After 14 games for Austrian club SV Stadtwerke Kapfenberg Hooiveld plays for FC Inter Turku from 2007 to 2008. FC Inter was coached by Dutchman Job Dragtsma. After winning the championship with Inter in 2008, Hooiveld moved to Sweden to sign a 3-year contract until 2011.
His 2009 season in Sweden was very successful too. Hooiveld has won the Player of the Year award in Sweden. The price and his play for AIK brought him under the attention of Scottish giants Celtic. In January 2010 he was signed on a 3,5 year contract. |
