| Yildirim signed a 3-year contract at Gaziantepsor in July 2007. However, after a financial dispute his contract was cancelled in January 2008. After receiving permission from the Turkish FA to sign for a new club, he signed a 2,5 year contract at Sivasspor until June 2010.
In September 2008 Yildirim was allowed a free transfer because of not featuring in the 2008-09 plans at Sivasspor. Yildirim has signed a contract until the end of the season 2008-09 with Turkish second division club Kasımpaşa SK. His contract was not extended and he searched for a new club. Finally in February 2010 he found himself a new club. He returned home signing for the rest of the season at FC Oss. However, the Turkish FA did not clear the player and he was not allowed to play for another club in the 2009-10 season. In July 2010 Yildirim started the training at the club from his home town AGOVV Apeldoorn to keep up his fitness. In August the club confirmed a 1-year contract for the midfielder. | |
