| Jeffrey Sarpong moved abroad in August 2010 to Spanish outfit Real Sociedad. The product of the Ajax youth academy has signed a 3-year contract.
In mid-season 2011-12 transferperiod, he returned home to sign for NAC Breda on a loan deal for the rest of the season. In the 2012-13 season, he was send on loan to Segunda Division outfit Hércules Alicante. In January 2013 the loan was terminated. He returned to Sociedad but club and player decided also to terminate his contract that expired in summer 2013. Jeffrey Sarpong became available on a free transfer. Soon he signed a new contract starting in the 2013-14 season at his former club NAC Breda until June 2016. Sarpong is a former Dutch U21 international but has Ghanaian (father) and Nigerian (mother) roots. | |
