| Ajax youth talent Javier Martina moved to Major League Soccerclub Toronto FC in February 2011. Toronto FC, based in Canada, is coached by Dutchman Aron Winter. He was released in November 2011 at the end of the 2011 season.
'Martina will be best remembered for a two-goal performance in the 2011 season opener, lifting Toronto to a 2-0 victory over Portland and winning MLS Goal of the Week in the process.
