Eli Louhenapessy is a product from the Ajax youth academy. He made his debut on senior level in the 1996-97 season. That was also his first and last match at Ajax. In the next season he moved abroad trying to find his luck in Italy. Udinese has signed the young midfielder on a 5-year deal. In his first season he was send on loan to Genoa where he made 12 appearances. He returned home to play on loan at de Graafschap for 1,5 season. Afterwards he was send on another loan deals at Salernitana and Austria. He has never made his debut for the first team of Udinese during his long-term contract.

After nine games for Bregenz in the 2001-02 season, Louhenapessy retired from professional football. His 5-year contract at Udinese finally came to and end.

Eli went to Italy to play on amateur-level. He played for the lower division clubs; Sevegliano, Carrarese, Pozzuolo del Friuli, San Daniele del Friuli and Aurora Buonacquisto.
