Postma has turned his loan spell with Wolves into a permanent stay of 6 months. With main keeper Stefan Oakes out injured, Postma has had a chance to prove himself between the golden sticks at Molineaux.

In July 2006, he has been released as a free agent. He returned home and signed for ADO Den Haag.

He seemed to join QPR in January 2008 after a dispute with ADO who refused a transfer. However, the transfer was not sealed at the end, and Postma was still under ADO contract that expired in summer 2008.

Keeping up fitness at his former club de Graafschap in summer 2008, he has signed a half year contract at the club from Doetinchem until January 2009. In the beginning of 2009 he moved abroad to play for Cyprus Second division club Ermis Aradippou. He won promotion with the club at the end of the 2008-09 season.

After a trial at AGOVV Apeldoorn, he signed his homeland return with a 2-year contract until 2011. On April 29 2011 he played his final match before retiring from professional football. He continued at the club in a staff role.
