October 19 2012, Davids made his debut as player/manager for Barnet selecting himself in the line-up and as captain of the team. Davids also continued in the 2013-14 season as player-coach.

In January 2014, Davids has left Barnet. He failed to bring the club back to the fourth tier in English football and left the club as player and coach. His future is unsure but he probably retired as player from professional football.
