A fairytale for Esajas. After doing the youthacademy of Ajax and Anderlecht, Esajas went to Feyenoord were he became famous in a negative way. He knocked-out an opponent on the pitch. Afterwards he played for several clubs for a short time. Thanks to his friend Clarence Seedorf, he went abroad to Spain to play for the reserves from Real Madrid and for Zamora and Mostoles. His career seems to be over but then the fairytale came to a good end. Friend Seedorf again asked Harvey to join his club, the AC Milan giants. The club even agreed a contract for a season and Esajas who has not played for two years moved to Milan. A dream came true. He made his debut in the Coppa Italia against Palermo on January 2005.

When his contract expired, Esajas tried his luck at the Italian clubs Legnano and Lecce before he retired from professional football in January 2007.

Harvey Esajas is currently coach at Dutch amateurclub SC Buitenveldert in Amsterdam.
