Dutch international Peter Bosz went abroad four times in his career. The defensive midfielder and defender played in France, Japan and Germany, and ended his career also abroad in his second period at JEF United in 1999.

After his professional playercareer, Peter Bosz went coaching Dutch clubs AGOVV, De Graafschap and Heracles Almelo. He was the technical director of Feyenoord Rotterdam until January 2009. In July 2010 Bosz started his second period as head coach of Heracles Almelo. In June 2013 he returned to his former club Vitesse Arnhem, now as head coach.

In the second half of the 2015-16 season, he made a surprising move to Israel. At Maccabi Tel Aviv he became the head coach of the team, next to Dutch man and technical director Jordi Cruijff.

At the end of May 2016, his name was mentioned as new head coach of Ajax Amsterdam.
