Serginho Greene moved abroad in August 2010 signing a 2-year contract at Bulgarian club Levski Sofia. The defender played with his foreign club in the Europa League in his first season. At the end of his second season in June 2012, his contract was not extended and he left the club looking for new opportunities.

In July 2012 Serbian club FK Vojvodina Novi Sad announced the signing of Greene on a 2-year deal. In January 2013, he was allowed a loan move to AEK Larnaca for the rest of the season. In mid-season 2013-14 he was allowed a free transfer looking for new opportunities. Larnaca was keen to sign the defender on a permanent deal in January 2014.

In the second half of the 2014-15 season, Greene has played at Othellos Athienou together with fellow Dutchman Civard Sprockel. After the relegation to the second liga, both were released from their contract.

In September 2015 Greene moved to India to play for Delhi Dynamos, the club with former world champion Roberto Carlos as a manager.

Serginho Greene signed a contract until the end of the season at FC Dordrecht in March 2016 and moved back to The Netherlands. In May 2016 RKC Waalwijk announced they re-signed Greene on a 2-year contract starting at July 2016. In July 2018 he retired from professional football.
