Kew Jaliens moved in January 2011 abroad. He signed a 2,5 year contract at Wisla Krakow. The Polish club is then coached by Dutchman Robert Maaskant. At the end of his contract, he was released and became available on a free transfer.

In August 2013, the Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce the signing of former Dutch international Kew Jaliens for the 2013/14 Australian A-League season. He extended his stay with another season in March 2014.

Kew Jaliens became available on a free transfer in January 2015. In February he moved to Melbourne City on a short-term deal until the summer. His contract was not renewed at the end of the season. Jaliens decided to hang up his boots and retired from professional football.
