Former club(s):Almere City, Neuchâtel Xamax (Swi), FC Utrecht, RBC Roosendaal, FC Utrecht, Ajax, Zeeburgia
Sander Keller moved abroad in early 2011. He signed a contract until June 2012 at the Swiss club of Neuchâtel Xamax. The defender was a product of the Ajax youth academy but made his début at FC Utrecht.

During his stay in Switzerland, he was victim of the new wealthy owner of the club and Keller had no chances to show his quality. At the end of December 2011 he returned home to continue his Swiss contract expiring in June 2012 on a loan deal at de Graafschap.

However the deal was cancelled just before 12 o'clock. The Dutch midfielder is now very unsure about his future since the Swiss FA also troubled his club Xamax while getting them out of the league in January 2012 due to financial problems with the owner.

Keller continued his career back home at Almere City FC. He signed a 3-year contract at the Dutch club in June 2012. His contract expired in summer 2015 and he has left the club and retired from professional footbal.

In the 2015-16 season, Sander Keller is playing on amateur level at VV de Meern.
