Jeroen Tesselaar has signed a one year deal with St Mirren Football Club until June 2012 in July 2011. The defender had been on trial with St Mirren over the pre-season and impressed their manager.

In June 2012, Kilmarnock have snapped up Dutch defender Jeroen Tesselaar on a two-year deal following his depature from SPL rivals St Mirren. At the end of his contract he returned to his former club Saint Mirren for another season until June 2015. In July 2015 he became available after the expiration of his contract.

Tesselaar signed a one-year contract at De Graafschap for the 2015-16 season. After relegation of the club, he was not offered an extension and he left the club looking for new opportunities. In November 2016 he moved to Israel to play for Hapoel Ramat Gan. In the 2017-18 season he played at fellow second division club Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem. Tesselaar his current status is unknown.
