Vincent Weijl moved abroad in summer 2008. From the AZ Reserves he joined the Reserves of Liverpool. Seeing no future in the first team of the English club, he asked for a loan period. He returned home to the Netherlands joining Helmond Sport during the second half of the 2009-10 season.

In August 2010 he left Liverpool to move to Spain. SD Eibar signed the young forward on a 2-year contract until June 2012. He played several matches in Spain before returning home in mid-season 2011-12. SC Cambuur signed the forward until June 2013 with an option for another season.

In January 2013, Weijl and Cambuur decided to release their contract. Weijl played in one year just 8 matches.

In October 2013, Vincent Weijl signed for Romanian club FC Brasov for the rest of the 2013-14 season. After a few months in the United States in which he only played for reserve teams, Weijl moved to South China AA on 5 December 2013. In July 2014 Weijl left South China AA for Tai Po FC from Hong Kong, a club that competes in the Hong Kong Premier League.

In the 2015-16 season Weijl plays at Fuenlabrada, the Spanish club that competes in the Segunda División B. The winger has left the club in January 2016 to sign for the 2016 year a contract at Danish second liga side FC Fredericia.

In January 2017 when his contract expired, he moved to Malaysia to join PKNP FC. Until January 2018 he was active in the Malaysian league. His contract was expired and he moved to Georgia to play at FC Samtredia. Since August 2018 he is on a three-months contract at IA Akranes from Iceland. After expiration he was looking for a new challenge. In January he returned to Dutch football and signed for AFC Amsterdam on third tier.
