| Goalkeeper Jan Ruiter started his career at FC Volendam before moving abroad. He went to Belgium in 1971 to play for Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht. Ruiter continued his foreign spell at several Belgian clubs ending at FC Antwerp in 1985. Ruiter stayed in Belgium to play at amateurs clubs Sporting Ternat and Avenir Lembeek. After his retirement he managed Belgian club Berchem for a short time. |
