FC Utrecht youth talent Nassir Maachi moved abroad in summer 2012. He signed a 2-year contract at the Dutch colony of players at AEK Larnaca.

In summer 2014 he joined Albanian champions Flamurtari Vlorė to help them in their European football adventure. In January 2015 he moved to Malta to sign for Birkirkara for the rest of the season. In the following transfer window, he moved to Paphos on Cyrprus for the 2015-16 season. In the 2016-17 season Maachi went playing for Nea Salamina Famagusta and continued in the Greek competition. The forward was released from his contract in January 2018.

In 2018 Maachi played for half a season on Cyprus before returning home to play for DOVO Veenendaal. At the end of December 2018 he terminated his contract and returned to Cyprus to play the second half of the 2018-19 season at ASYL Lysi. Nassir Ahmed Maachi retired in July 2019 from professional football and continued at amateur level at SV Huizen.
