Ajax youth product Ebecilio made an immediate move in January 2013 to Ukrainian club Metallurg Donetsk. The Holland U21 international who was part of the team who won the league titles of 2011 and 2012 was not in the picture of coach Frank de Boer anymore and decided to find his luck abroad. Ebecilio signed a 3-year contract.
Soon he was allowed to leave the club and signed for FC Gabala in Azerbeidzjan in June 2013 on a one year deal. In July 2014 he continued a loan period but then at Russian outfit Mordovia Saransk. At the Russian club he was also playing with Dutchman Mitchell Donald. Ebecilio signed on a three-year contract at Anzhi in July 2015. Since his contract had ended at Metallurg, Anzhi signed him on a transfer free deal. In January 2017 he moved on a free transfer to Cyprus signing for Apoel Nicosia until 2019. For a transfer fee around 600k euro, Ebecilio was contracted by Red Star Belgrade in Serbia. He signed a 2 year contract for the Serbian club. | |
