Former Holland U21 and B international Kees Luijckx went abroad in summer 2014. He signed a 2-year deal at Greek club Niki Volos. The centre defender is a product of the AZ youth academy.
Half a season later he left Niki Volos. He could stay at his former club NAC Breda for a while to train. In February 2015 Luijckx moved to Videoton FC, where he signed a contract until 30 June 2017. He became champions of Hungary in the season 2014-15. In August 2015, his contract was surprisingly cancelled. Luijckx already played some Champions League qualifiers.
In September 2015 Luijckx signed a contract until the winter break of the current season at Sønderjyske in Denmark with the intention to renew this contract any point soon. In December 2015 Luijckx renewed his contract for the first time and he is currently under contract until 2020 at the Danish club. |
